· THREE Brewery Curated 500ml Bottles - 2024 production year (or earlier). This is one of the most exciting benefits of FAMILY membership! You will receive advance notice (prior to public release) that you have been allocated selections from our production. We curate these selections based on your preferences, determined from a preference survey you will be asked to respond to. (These surveys also inform our creative brewing plans – let us know your dream beers, and you may find one of ours curated for you!) Because of the varied nature of both production schedules and selection processes based on your preferences, notification of each of your curated allocations may occur at any point in the calendar year. If we do not receive a 2024 survey response from you to inform our selection process, we will curate beers from more popular brands.
· Cellaring. We have increased the cellaring capacity for you, based on the popularity of this perk. You may cellar up to 36 bottles at a time in BFAA’s Cellar. You can leave them in our protection until December 31, 2024 (or longer, if you renew for the following year.) Increased capacity for storage means you can feel free to purchase the maximums in online bottle sales – we will store those too. à STORAGE occurs at the Burns Family Artisan Ales BarrelHouse (the original location.) PICKUP will be assumed to be at the BarrelHouse, unless 72hour notice is given via email with a specific list of the beers you intend to pick up at the TapHouse (1236 South Broadway, Denver), on your specified day. We will hold the beers at the TapHouse for 36 hours from your stated pickup time. After that, they return to the BarrelHouse for storage.
· FAMILY Events! Our FAMILY parties offer you the opportunity to get to know the rest of the FAMILY, to taste some beers in production, or sample some beers from our cellar, and to bring a friend so they can learn about your little secret! Tap beers are discounted, a light repast will be offered, and music or other performance will entertain.
· No-fee, Priority Access Online Bottle Releases: FAMILY has no-fee access to our public bottle releases and will receive a two-day advance window for online purchases. Note: Taxes apply; purchase must be made on a card with Member’s name on it.
· 10% off taproom beer & 10% off merchandise.
· FAMILY emails to keep you in the loop; with both commonplace and exceptional information, including notifications of brewery events, festivals, beer releases and staff updates.
· Exclusive early sign-up window (Nov 15 – 30, 2024) for 2025 FAMILY membership. RENEWING MEMBERS KEEP THEIR CELLAR PRIVILEGE CONTINUOUSLY INTO COMING YEAR. Meaning, a renewing member does not need to heed the Dec 31 pickup deadline.
What’s The Value?: Always a great question. First of all, no matter where we price our beers, we hope that our product gains in value the more you discover the passion in our beer. We get to know you, and we care for you, just like FAMILY, and that really is priceless. But if you want to crunch numbers, the retail value of many bottles we produce are $22-25/500ml. Double Barrel Aged Solar Eclipse, if it was available for retail, retails for $40, but FAMILY members are the generally the only folks who get access to these. Cellaring is largely not available to anyone BUT Members, but if it were would cost $10/month/case. You also get the special warm-fuzzy feeling of having beers curated JUST FOR YOU. Add in a party - for two - with discounted beers, vintage pours, food and music - add in the fact you may be the only people who get some of these limited releases because of the priority purchase window for online releases - add in the value of being able to assign a proxy - for some, that’s very important. Add then, a ten percent discount on beers purchased on your FAMILY tab while you are in the taproom — that of course is only valuable if you can make it to the taproom regularly, …but you can see we’ve already far exceeded your $350 membership price.

Burns Family Artisan Ales LLC may also be referred to in this document as Burns Family Artisan Ales, or BFAA.
2024 FAMILY Membership/Members may be referred to in this document as Membership or Members.
Membership is for the sole use by the individual registered, who must be 21+ years as confirmed by valid ID upon BFAA taproom visits. Disbursement of benefits to underage individuals will be reported to appropriate agencies, and violators will have membership revoked with no refund.
Other than being of, and legally proving to BFAA, the standard of being of legal drinking age per laws of the United States of America, we use no other criteria to restrict or define membership and inclusion in the Membership at BFAA.
Membership purchases are non-refundable.
Memberships cannot be transferred. (Gifting? See “Gift Memberships” below.)
Member benefits may not be exchanged for any other value or brand.
Membership is for one individual, and benefits will be distributed and tracked via member name and email given at the time of enrollment.
“Bottles” refers to a 500 fluid oz/vol vessel filled with product of BFAA as described.
Sales Taxes are collected for the City Of Denver and the State Of Colorado.
We reserve the right to cancel any membership.
We do not ship or deliver beer at this time.
Member allocations are not for resale.
Let your bartender know you are a FAMILY member! Communication to BFAA staff of your FAMILY Member participation, and items you are picking up, is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. This includes notifying staff of any beers/items you have been allocated and/or have purchased. Staff at BFAA will consult a living document which is a record of FAMILY beers you have been allocated and have already received. IF YOU HAVE CONCERNS about the accuracy of this record, please pause – ask kindly for clarification based on your own records – and allow us to make it right for you. The staff member behind the bar may not be the best person to clear up concerns. If we can’t fix it at that moment, DO NOT pick up your beer on this visit, and contact Laura (laura@burnsfamilyartisanales.com) to gain correction/clarity. We want everyone to be as happy as they can be with the FAMILY experience!
Survey: You will receive an e-survey within a few weeks of signing up. The survey will ask for your beer style preferences/dislikes, brand preferences (both BFAA brands and other breweries’ brands,) personal allergies, and contact information. Completing the survey by January 31, 2024 (or asap) is vital for us to make sure we curate a welcoming Member experience for you. If you are unable to complete your survey, expect your Brewery Curated Bottles to be of mixed brewer’s choice based on brand popularity and brand availability.
Allergies: Please inform us of your food allergies via the survey, so we do our best to keep you away from them. BFAA beers contain gluten. Other common allergens will be noted in the brand description.
Bottle Allocations: Bottles will release throughout the 2024 calendar year. Members will receive notice of release dates. We cannot commit to a specific release schedule except for the following. We cannot ship beer.
Curated Beer: Members will be given notice of their allocations of curated beers prior to public releases or presale windows. Notifications will occur via email. BFAA will act in good faith to curate a positive taste experience, based on the member’s survey response and available beer to be allocated. Curated beers may not be exchanged for other brands.
10% off: Discount will be given for all eligible beers poured from our taps, paid for by the current member. You must let BFAA Taproom Staff know you are a FAMILY member before opening your tab. Some beers made for charity or for special events may be excluded.
PRIORITY ACCESS: Burns Family Artisan Ales will create a private code for each online bottle release. This code enables Members an early purchase window via Eventbrite (or an equivalent platform.) YOU WILL BE INFORMED OF THIS CODE via email. Early purchase windows are generally of a two-day duration.
MEMBERSHIP-ONLY: for some of our Membership-only releases, our cellar may produce more bottles than what is automatically allocated to the members as part of the program. These bottles will be available to members for purchase on a first-come-first-serve basis. If all bottles are not sold after this offering, we reserve the right to offer these beers to the public once the member sales end. In addition, we reserve the right to offer these specialty beers on draft for a short period of time and/or during special events. Our every intention is to keep these beers and bottles initially exclusive to members as much as possible, but if members fail to sell out a members-exclusive release during the dedicated timeframe, that exclusivity will be surrendered.
MEMBER EVENTS: We will host events exclusively for FAMILY Members and their plus-one guest. The event is free to attend. RSVPs are expected and will be catalogued via your ticketed reservation to a free EVENT created on Eventbrite or similar platform, the link to said EVENT being distributed to you via email. Help us make the best party for you by responding before the RSVP deadline – although if you can’t RSVP by the deadline, attend in any case! Members and their plus-one guest will receive the same discounts on tap beer/merchandise at these events.
Cellar: FAMILY Member holds responsibility for beers stored with BFAA. Members are required to notify BFAA via email of the intention to store beers in our 55֯-60֯F cellar. We will do everything we can to make sure your bottles are well cared for, but caveat emptor applies, as does the caveat for vis major – in other words, you are responsible for knowing the cellarability of your product being stored, and we cannot be responsible for injury to your beers outside of our control. WE APPRECIATE NOTICE before picking up your BFAA-cellared beer. PICKUP is at the BarrelHouse, 2505 West 2nd Ave, Unit 13, Denver (original location) unless 72hour notice is given via email with a specific list of the beers you intend to pick up at the TapHouse (1236 South Broadway, Denver), on your specified day. We will hold the beers at the TapHouse for 36 hours from your stated pickup time. After that, they return to the BarrelHouse for storage. Unless special arrangements are made with BFAA ownership, cellared beers left after Dec 31, 2023 will be returned to BFAA inventory with no refunds. Some special arrangements may incur a fee.
Proxies: Proxy pickup IS allowed. Member must notify BFAA, via email, of the name of the proxy 7 days in advance of pickup. Proxy must be 21+. Proxy need to inform BFAA staff of exact beers being picked up, and hold copies of purchaser’s tickets for beers purchased in online sales. We cannot be responsible for beers after they are picked up by proxy, or re-allocate based on pickup mistakes.
Out of town FAMILY Members with no proxy: By ARRANGEMENT, membership cellaring and deadlines can be slightly modified to fit your pickup date. Arrangements will be made on an individualized basis after membership purchase. Some special arrangements may incur a fee.
Gift Memberships: Purchase a membership online or in our taproom. Record RECIPIENT’s information when asked (email, address, etc.) Then email us at info@burnsfamilyartisanales.com to double-ensure we know your purchase is a gift. IF YOU WANT US TO WAIT until a certain date to inform the recipient of their membership, you must let us know asap. Gift recipients are required to be 21+ years of age, and must abide by the fine print.
Please be aware of the Brewery-Life-Beer Rule: Some beers may not release on schedule, or at all, due to matters beyond our control, since Brewing, Barrel-Aging and Blending schedules are always determined by the beer, and sometimes determined by facility, equipment, or procurement challenges and therefore cannot be held to rigid timetables. We reserve the right to make substitutions and edits to the list above.
