We are thrilled to be invited again to Pints For Prostate’s Denver Rare Beers, this being its Thirteenth year raising money to bring awareness, facilitate screenings and fight for an end to prostate cancer. We are breaking out two very rare beers for this event:
Precambrian Megaripple
A stronger Old Ale, with an abundance of malt and a full 26 months in a Laws Four-Grain Bourbon barrel. Regale the senses with toffee, bourbon, dried fruit, cherry wood, caramel, treacle, brown bread, plum, almond, oak, sherry, a light spice and mild earthy funkiness. Based on a GABF and World Beer Cup Gold-medal award-winning recipe. 17%abv.
Ode To Yggdrasil Solar Eclipse
This Quadruple Barrel-Aged Russian Imperial Stout took 30 months to prepare for release. Aged in Laws 4-Grain Bourbon barrels, then Ardbeg Ten-Year Single Malt barrels, thence into Heaven Hill Elijah Craig barrel and finally resting in a Woodford Reserve barrel. Notes of toasted oak, bourbon, caramel, dark chocolate, marzipan, kola nut, vanilla, cherry, leather. Soft carbonation. No adjuncts. Solar Eclipse is a brand originated and exclusive to our master brewer Wayne Burns since 2001. 22%abv.
